Clunie Range Decibel NBHD5
Another great sire D5 possesses great width of loin and hindquarter, a major factor in selecting this sire as we strive to keep natural carcase in our black cattle. Along with this extreme thickness, he also has good length of body and very sound legs and feet. The female line of this sire who originated from Farrer Stud, Tamworth appealed to us. They are predominantly high volume, square rumped, wedgy females.
D5’s first progeny on the ground now show that he is breeding true to type with the natural thickness of their sire.
We look forward to watching these calves progress in the coming months.
Glenisa Axle QBVA020
A20 was chosen from his contemporary 'A' group for his visual appeal, displaying tremendous length of body and depth of hind quarter; qualities his sire Alliance 6595 has consistently bred into his offspring. These attributes make him an ideal sire for producing heavy cattle, he himself weighing in at an impressive 1100kg's in the paddock. A20's Dam was bought from Noranda Stud in South Australia for her growth, volume and overall balance. All of her daughters have proven themselves an asset to the herd by breeding on quality cattle creating an impeccable family line.
Dulverton Zack NGCZ042
A moderate framed, easy conditioning sire that possesses the sleek coat and loose skin we strive to obtain in our cattle. He is robust with great depth and volume making him ideal to put over our more growthy females. Keeping this balance in the herd produces good moderate commercial type cattle, efficient in productivity and fertility. Z42s' sire, Dulverton Vanilla V049, was first used within the Dulverton herd before joining the PC Angus program. His Dam was a Dulverton Uptake female with the characteristics Uptake cattle are well known for; their good skin and hair type.
